5 – The Problem with Ribbons

blog 5

Dear Lucy,

Beatrix’s friends Peter and Benjamin are super fun.

They’ve been plagued by a cat they know as Ribbons who chases their tails every time they go into the garden to collect vegetables.  I devised a toy to keep Ribbons busy and have been instructing Peter on how to use it.

Once Benjamin’s finished we are gong back to Peter’s for bread and blackberries.

Can’t wait!

  1. Hi Morris,
I have started following your adventures since I had been an avid reader of adventures since I was a young girl. Since I’m American, you sometimes reference things that most times only someone in the UK would know. Hope you will put a little “definition” on the side for the non-residential followers of your travels, so we can enjoy them as well. Really lovely post cards and such a nice thing to do for your friend. I’m sure it cheers her up immensely.
    Safe travels,

    1. Hi Linda,
Really pleased you are enjoying my adventures. As a little mouse I don’t always know what fans won’t understand, but if something confuses you please feel free to leave a comment and I will be happy to explain. M.M.

  2. 5 – The Problem with Ribbons
    Hi Morris,
It’s great that you are already friends with Peter and Benjamin. It’s very kind of you to help Peter in dealing with Ribbons. I can imagine the three of you getting up to all kinds of antics.
Lovely, heart warming detail in the picture!
